Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)
RMI provides a range of services to Nationally Significant entities in the Energy, Transportation, ICT, Banking and Government sectors.
Whereas CNI is directed (EU Directive) at man made security threats; technological threats and natural disasters are also taken into account.
It is noteworthy that Cyber Threat is ranked second in the UK National Security Strategy. In this regard whereas CNI was once characterised with an emphasis on physical protection, CCTV, locks, fences and security guards it is now critically threatened by protagonists using cyber as their preferred weapon and delivery system of choice.
